if a relative is buried without Greek coins in the mouth and eyes, how can you help your mind in motion?
I want my partner is having difficulty reaching terms with the death of his parents, especially as the coins were not used in funerary rites, and is hosting a large because of this, I'd be able to support in the grieving process, but I do not think I can start moving while believing that his father is among the worlds ……. any help would be appreciated.
I think it would be best to consult an authority on the subject. Mostly what you get here is sarcastic or well-meaning and answers uninformed. Go to a Greek Orthodox priest and ask him. I'm sure they've been Orthodox Greeks have died or lost at sea in another form when the body could not be retrieved. There may be some special rites in cases such as to compensate for the lack of an official funeral. And quite possibly, could be the solution to the father of her husbands. Good luck to you and your husband.
