Why cleaning collectables decline in value?

I have read many comments on these samples should never clean a collection currency by using any method, it would reduce its value by half at least. Nobody ever said why. Why not clean a room more valuable than the tarred, body oils, bitumen and channels?

In general, when the sale of antiques and other valuables when you own something that damaging. And when an issue is not cleaned patina that accumulates is an indication of their true age things. that are too clean are often wrong. It is difficult to simulate the accumulation of dirt and darkness come with time. Collectors can enter the era of something better if not cleaned. If the buyer desires Article clean leave them alone. This type also saves having to worry about that.
